Dr. Wang

Dr. Xiaofei Wang is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and surgeon. After completing her residency training at University of Rochester in 2014, she was invited to join the teaching faculty at Rochester General Hospital where she received a resident teaching award every year she was there. She moved to Syracuse to join CNY Eye Care in 2017 and has been happily practicing in Syracuse ever since. She is well loved by patients and staff. Dr. Wang provides comprehensive eye care. She is an accomplished surgeon specializing in Cataract surgery, Micro Invasive Glaucoma surgery, etc.

Prior to residency, she was a researcher at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She has obtained multiple grants from Fight for Sight, Knight Templar Eye Foundation, Heed Foundation, etc and has more than 20 publications. Her research experience has prompted her to always think of why and how, which is the same principle that she applies to clinical thinking.

Dr. Wang is happily married with four children and a Labrador retriever. They live in Manlius where they enjoy the great community and outdoors. She accepts new patients at all three CNY Eye Care locations.
